Yes, the trend of spinning vinyl is very much alive in our hearts, but I'll be the first to admit that the trend is slowly dying. I wish I could say that I myself run with vinyl but I can't. I'm just starting out. These days its all done serato. In an industry where most music is mp3, it was a matter of time til most DJ's followed along. And in a way, it makes sense. Its more convenient, easier. So the question, Is the art of scratching vinyl dead? Well as long as there are cats who love their craft (DJ Heavy Evan A.K.A. HEKTIC), Vinyl will never fade.Keep diggin' those crates!
Wow.... thats it. That's exactly what last night at the House of Blues was. Whether you're using it in a bad way or the best of ways, WOW summed our Tuesday night. And man....we will remember it. I mean celebrities, beautiful models, G HIGH SPIRIT, and BEAUTIFUL MODELS :)))) It was fuckin _____. i dont know maaannn. Just imagine the most fun you've experienced in a long time and fill it in one night. Last night the House of Blues became a club, concert venue, runway, you name it. Keep in mind yesterday was Tuesday. Murs too man. We repped Gahr, stormed the stage, and danced... In the words of Jaymie Padero, "Ay mann but forreal, last night was HIGH KEY CRACKIN THO."
Hurley Walk the Walk has come to Gahr High. Giving we, the powerful students a chance to raise moolah for the school. Best part is all we need to do is show up! Catch is there are three other schools. Whichever school has more students present wins. For Gahr its free but everyone else..Good Luck tickets are looooong gone. Oh yeah did I mention MURS is performing?
So yeahh... the flyer's been out for some time now but, i feel the need to bring this to everyones attention. I mean look at the headliners! Despite The Killers recent "creative" phase, Coachella will never dissappoint. Oh yeah and THE CURE!?Celebrate music and your elders kids.
I know you've had a million reasons to feel scared lately. I also know you've been hearing alot about that H-WORD. Just a slogan? UH-UH, Hope is the water of life, and we all should be steady drinkers. Forever be optimists. Without hope, there would be no... hope. And so I insist that you give your full attention to these glass-half-full, carpe-diemed, don't worry be happy reasons and things so you aren't so frickin depressed.

You've probably seen him in movies like "Walk the Line", "Signs", "Gladiator", and "The Village." And if u have you probably know that this dude is a straight up ACTOR. The reason I bring it up is because he claims he's quitting acting and pursuing a music career in rap. I hope he's kidding, cus we need more Joaquin Phoenix in the movie world.
Hey, I'm Derek. And today, has been all about CHANGE. Well, not too much. UMMM...Allen iverson got a haircut! And so did I.......IM SORRRY!! Just seemed like the right time.

This years contest was dead. Not enough excitement. No creativity. Where are your imaginations? Any way the dudes played poker and we watched some british dude eat bugs and crazy shit like that.
