All I've been doing on youtube is watching DUMBFOUNDEAD and GRINDTIME WEST. Big ups to Nasty Nate for enlightening me. Battle rap and freestyle two completely different arts. Same concept, but totally different format. Battles aren't completely freestyled. Instead its common that rappers study their comp and write a couple verses. Almost comparable to prizefighters preparing for an opponent. ANYWAYS PROMO GRINDTIME AND CATCH DUMBFOUNDEAD.

Clicked on "next blog" and this is where it took me. I didn't even watch the second battle, which is the one you repped, because the first one is nine minutes long and that is about all the rap battle I've got in me. But that first one went way beyond my expectations. The dude who led off was a fucking genius, and the guy who lost had so much passion my heart broke about as much as it could break for a dude in a rap battle when he lost it in the end. Nice post.
